There are many works in which a character is reincarnated as a ‘villainess from an Otome game’ and uses her knowledge of the game to avoid ruin or struggle to save her, but I started writing this work because I don’t remember a work in which a character who is not even a character in the game rises from the bottom of the heap to save the villainess.

In addition, I wrote the first part of this work especially with the idea of thoroughly following the template, so most of the elements were probably familiar to you from somewhere.

As the author, the only elements that I know are less common, are the glider and the selfless Wise Sage.

I initially thought this work would be about 60-70 chapters, but it swelled up and before I knew it, it had more than doubled in volume. As you can see from the fact that the title of chapter 69 is a title recovery, I had planned to finish with a quick clash with Amy when Anastasia woke up, but that’s strange.

I managed to write it down, but Amy gave me a hard time over and over again, and there was a time when I threw the brush away once and left it for a while because of her unpredictable behavior.

Since I was not sure when it would be finished, I decide to complete the work before releasing it to the public.

I started this work because I wanted to improve my novel-writing skills by writing a romance novel, so I hope I was able to express my feelings and emotions well. However, there are far more parts that are not like a romance novel, such as few dating scenes, no love enemies, and people dying one after another, but when I noticed it, it was already over.

Also, this work was also pushed up to Syosetu No. 1 in various rankings, and thanks to the many readers, I was able to better understand what I was lacking in this work, which is very memorable.

Because of that, this work received an honorable mention at the 2nd Earth Star Novel Awards, and the story of Allen and Anastasia will be spun out in a new setting, in book form. In the book version, I would like to add and revise many scenes that were largely cut from the book for the sake of tempo, such as the story with the mother and senior adventurers in the early stages of the story, interactions at the school, the relationship with Anna’s father, and changes in the protagonist’s state of mind.

If you would like to see them in action in the book, if you think it was lacking, if you would have liked to know more about this part of the story, or if you were a little dissatisfied with this version, we hope you will pick up the book version.

Now, the main character, Allen, is set up to be quite smart, but this is because it would have been impossible for him to win over Anastasia, the duchess, in the midst of a strict status system unless he had this level of ability and also had to work hard and single-mindedly.

People said that he changed his character and became an idiot during the course of the story, but these aspects did not stand out because he was not involved with others and was acting according to clear goals.

The main character was not a calm and perfect character from the beginning: he flew in a glider without thinking about where to land and tried to force a landing without turning back, used rough language because he was annoyed that Jerome-kun was a clunker, and went to the elf village unscheduledly. This is partly because his mental age has regressed due to his reincarnation, but it is also his original character.

In addition, I think I may have left the readers in the dark about the concept of killing people and the part where his perspective changed drastically from being a mere townsperson to marrying a princess of a duke’s house. It is definitely due to my lack of ability to properly convey these aspects. I will work hard to improve these points in the book version, so I hope you will be able to look forward to it.

Amy, on the other hand, despite her privileged position as a heroine, relied on the cheat of knowledge of her previous life and failed to work hard, leading to her downfall.

She was a child prodigy at ten, a gifted child at fifteen, and a mere human being after twenty, unable to think of self-discipline and unable to make proper decisions due to delusion.

Although Amy’s final scene is within the R15 restrictions, I was conflicted about whether or not it was appropriate for the audience to see it, so I decided not to include it in the book until after the story was completed. The end of Amy’s life from her point of view is a later story.

The protagonist and Anastasia will be made lords of a certain land, and they will devote their energies to its development as a lord couple. And since they have the bracelet of fertility, it is expected that they will be blessed with a child, but that is another story.
